Furneaux Lodge offers a stunning, unique alternative to the usual conference, corporate retreat or incentive venue.

Set in a beautiful natural environment in Endeavour Inlet, in the outer Marlborough Sounds, the lodge’s historic homestead has a cosy and inviting atmosphere, for a truly memorable conference, corporate retreat or incentive experience for you and your guests.

We offer a range of contemporary and convenient accommodation options for your guests, including a meeting space catering at the Furneaux Restaurant and Bar, onsite activities and transport options to get here.

With limited cellphone reception and wifi, and a number of unique activities on offer, Furneaux Lodge is the perfect place for your guests or team to come together for a productive, enjoyable corporate event without any distractions, surrounded by nature.

Rooms & Suites

Conference transfers

Furneaux Lodge is easily accessible by boat from central Picton or helicopter from anywhere. Cougar Line's water taxi services from Picton visit several times daily, and private water transfers with special rates can be arranged.

Charters are available 24 hours a day and will take you directly to Furneaux Lodge – a 45 minute journey from Picton.

Marlborough Tour Company's cruises can also be chartered for conference, corporate retreat or incentive transport to Furneaux Lodge - offering guests a wine and seafood experience as part of their journey.

Helicopter transfers ex Wellington

Helicopter transfers are available for up to 40 delegates. A scenic flight will take you across Cook Strait and Queen Charlotte Sound/Tōtaranui, to land directly on the front lawn of Furneaux Lodge.

Conference Package

Catering alternatives are available on request. The standard package for lunch is a working platter style lunch, and is the most popular choice. A la carte is also available, as are BBQ or bistro style meals.
