My Vaccine Pass required
Under the Government’s COVID-19 Protection Framework, from 3 December 2021 all guests and customers of Marlborough Tour Company, Cougar Line, Pelorus Mail Boat, Furneaux Lodge and Punga Cove are required to present their My Vaccine Pass to authenticate proof of their double vaccination against COVID-19 prior to boarding vehicles/vessels or entry to lodge buildings (including guest rooms, restaurants, bars and café).
You will also be asked to confirm your vaccination status when booking via our reservations team.
We appreciate your co-operation with our staff while we adapt our usual service in order to comply with Government regulations under the traffic light system. We’re doing this to prioritise your health and safety, along with that of our staff and our other guests, so together we can all have a safe and relaxing summer and you can have peace of mind around our COVID-19 precautions.
We haven’t taken this approach lightly. Failure by businesses to implement these checks risks fines of up to $15,000, so please bear with us.
Queen Charlotte Track and day visitors to Furneaux Lodge and Punga Cove
We look forward to welcoming you to our properties and ask that you please ensure you are double vaccinated.
Visitors to Furneaux Lodge and Punga Cove – who may be walking or biking the Queen Charlotte Track, arrive by private vessel or live locally – will be asked to show their My Vaccine Pass to enter any buildings at the two lodges including the restaurants, bars and café.
As both lodges have a number of entry points and many visitors over the summer, staff may perform random vaccine pass checks from time to time, to ensure our visitors are complying with the restrictions that we need to operate under.
You’re double-vaccinated but don’t have My Vaccine Pass?
Sign up to My Covid Record and request My Vaccine Pass.
